Book An AppointmentSinusitis is swelling of the sinuses, which are small, air-filled spaces in your cheekbones and forehead. The condition is usually caused by a viral infection, and it can often follow a cold or flu-like illness. The symptoms can be quite uncomfortable, but they usually clear up without treatment after two to three weeks. In some cases where a bacterial infection is the cause, a course of antibiotics may be necessary. If you’ve had persistent symptoms then make a booking to speak to one of our NHS pharmacists who’ll be able to advise you.
